Did you ever get a brilliant idea while you were in the bathroom? 

In March 2005 the idea for NittanyWeddings.com came to Kerri Smith in a revelatory moment in the privacy of her bathroom.  She immediately wrote down a rough plan, called Christine Eveleth to partner with her - and the rest is what you see today.  Many months of reseach, planning and asking questions brings you this website and the wedding planning component of Nittany Weddings. 

Kerri received confirmation on the idea when her sister-in-law was trying to plan her State College wedding from her home in Chicago.  She was frustrated because there was nothing on the Internet that provided a complete and reliable directory of businesses in the Centre Region.  Since then, Christine and Kerri have heard over and over again from brides, their families and businesses, that this website can help bridge the online communication gap in State College between businesses and the brides that need them. 

At Nittany Weddings, our goal is for this website to be THE resource that you'll go to when you need anything related to your wedding.  With your help and feedback, we can continually improve and enhance the site to bring you what you need.
