Our forte is housing the guests of large weddings celebrated at the lovely venues offered by Nittany Weddings. For guests from afar, we are perfection.  The attendants can dress in our four spacious rooms. Photographers can chronicle the preparations and last minute reflections of this joyous, yet solemn event. We will enjoy this service just as though we were pressing petticoats for vow-sayers on our very own grounds. There will be endless Tea and Empathy for guests and vendors. 

Our Cheval Glass will reflect every lovely aspect of the gowns of ladies in waiting, mothers of the bridal couple, and even the bride herself, should she decide to spend those precious days in our care. With the natural stress of preparations that can take at least a year, the bride and groom should consider their first few days in marriage as a mini-honeymoon before they depart on a genuine wedding trip.  This interlude will refresh, and regenerate any couple. It would be time well spent at the Chatelaine where a Chauffeured Limousine may transport them from the Church or Reception site until such time as all these aspects of their "Last in a Lifetime" celebration will happen here at the Chatelaine.  Bride and Groom, Family, Attendants, Guests: whatever your role in the festivities, let us take care of you.

Our vision for the Chatelaine is a future filled with Wedding celebrations, and the new drives and pathways are enticing guests to wander the grounds as never before.  The Gazebo is skirted with lovely plantings for a wedding service or a mini-table for two, where lovers of any status can enjoy a morning's repast, afternoon tea, or a nightcap in the moonlight.  

Currently we are best suited for mini-weddings of 8 or 10 overnight guests. Soon we expect to expand that number to 150 or more with tented affairs using the Carriage House for auxiliary shelter and softer seating when winds or showers intrude.
